Come celebrate the beautiful Bronx River and kick off the spring. This celebration is a great opportunity to learn more about the environmental justice work being done to reclaim the waterfront and clean our river and to have fun building together as a community. What: It's My Park Day!
Where: Concrete Plant Park on Westchester Ave. and Whitlock Ave. ( 6 train to Whitlock Ave. Station)
When: Saturday, May 21st -11 am to 4 pm
-Come joins us to celebrate the history of Concrete Plant Park and the work done by the community to develop and implement the design for what is now there. There will be speakers, music and performances, canoeing and water quality testing clinics, learn to ride and bike mechanic clinics, obstacle courses and much more. Bring your dancing shoes and let’s celebrate the day away!
