Sit on a wall
Here’s a great exercise that can help you to improve your posture while helping to tone your legs. Lean back against a wall, making sure that both shoulders as well as your lower back, touch the wall surface. Slide down the wall until you are in sitting position, moving your feet away from the wall as you do so, so that your knees are at right angles to your ankles. Your feet should be hip distance apart. It should really look like you are sitting in air.
Check your shoulders again to make sure that both are in contact with the wall surface and keep your head in neutral position, staring straight ahead.
Hold this position for increments of 15-20 seconds, sliding up for a rest and then back down into another hold. The goal is to build up to a 60 second hold or longer over time. You can also place an inflated ball behind you and slide up and down the wall, keeping the ball solidly behind you. If you choose this version of the exercise, make sure to be aware of your posture.
