If you are overweight then a new study says you might find the food more filling if you wait until after your workout. That feeling of satiation post workout might keep you full, so you feel no need to snack before lunch.

Most dieticians and nutritionists do not want you to work out on "an empty tank" so why not have a hard boiled egg or a banana and then save the rest of your breakfast until after your workout. Another approach could be to split your breakfast, having half before the workout and half after the workout. A piece of fruit then as a mid-morning pick me up will get you to lunch.
