Beware sushi when it comes to mercury contaminant in fish. Many of the more expensive sushi options contain Bluefin and Bigeye tuna, both of which have higher mercury levels than salmon, crab and certain kinds of whitefish.

Finally, beware cookies that say organic on the label. Though they do often contain healthier ingredients, they still have plenty of calories. Organic is not a license to overeat.
