A Daily Dose of Tea

Researchers are looking at the health benefits of tea. Do you know all the types of tea??
Black tea can have a broad range of flavors and is typically stronger flavored. It may help to control glucose levels.

Oolong tea is a typically fruity flavored tea. It may help to reduce inflammation.

Green tea often has a grassy, fresh flavor. It has been shown in some studies to protect against cardiovascular disease, colorectal cancer.

White tea is usually light colored, delicate, with a subtle, sweet flavor. It may have an anti-aging effect.

Why drink tea? Well, as I pointed out earlier it is a calorie free beverage so you can quench your thirst without drinking lots of calories. Then there are these added health benefits. It does take drinking several cups of tea a day in order to benefit health-wise.
