Youth Forum & Expo

HealthCorps^® participated in the Youth Forum and Expo on Thursday, April 16th at Hostos Community College in the Bronx. Coordinator Jessie Leinwand had the grand finale of the Teen Iron Chef competition at the event. Coordinator Rebecca Rinehart staffed a HealthCorps booth. The teen chefs in the Teen Iron Chef competition were so good that the event resulted in a tie. Everyone who attended was a winner as they got to sample the excellent and healthy dishes. Lynn Fredericks and Family Cook Productions have been wonderful partners in creating opportunities for students to come together around food.
