Chili Saves Lives

HealthCorps® held its second annual Chili Saves Lives Cook Off at The Brooklyn Brewery to raise loot for the cooking programs in HealthCorps High Schools nationwide. 15 Teams created a one pot wonder of chili magic to share with all participants and chili enthusiasts. The event took place on Friday, January 21^st from 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Cooking started at 3:00 p.m. and Judging began at 4:00 p.m. Buffalo Soldiers won the Grand Prize. Sahaja Meditation was the First Runner-Up, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers was the Second Runner-Up. The Body Project won the people’s choice award. Eating, loitering, and slow sipping continued until 5:30 p.m.
